Art Honor Society Demonstrate Their Artistry in Chalk Drawing Display

The 1st Annual Sidewalk Art Competition was held in the Templeton High School quad last week. Students from National Art Honor Society (NAHS) used fine art chalk to create dreamscapes. Students worked in groups of 1-3 students and had 4-hours to create a 4’x4’ square scene.  A host of judges evaluated the work on theme, color, and composition for their favorites and the winners were: Payton Milne & Georgianna Lansford for first, Lara Hawkins & Penelope Bradshaw for second, and Madi Beazley & Emmy Floberg for third.

Congratulations to our winners and a big thank you to NAHS for all the beauty you bring to our school and to our community.
