THS ANNOUNCES EAGLES OF THE MONTH FOR MARCH

THS ANNOUNCES EAGLES OF THE MONTH FOR MARCH

Each month staff members nominate a student they want to recognize as “Eagle of the Month”.  This month teachers nominated a student who demonstrates “respect for others”.  Of the students nominated, four are drawn at random to receive a lunch out at McPhee’s Grill on Main Street.  Below are our winners with a brief explanation as to why they were chosen and below that are the other students nominated this month and the staff member who nominated them.  Congratulations to all of our nominees.

NATALIJA PECENKOVIC

Natalija is a ray of sunshine on our campus. No matter what setting she is in, she is consistently respectful and kind to our staff and her peers alike.  -- Nominated by Alexxa Craton

HECTOR HUITRON

Hector is respectful and polite whether he is talking to his classmates, peers, or staff. He always offers to open the door or greets anyone with a hello and smile when entering the room. His willingness to help others through his humble personality is attributed to his courteous demeanor.  - Nominated by Laurel Hanson

CASEY ALLISON

Casey is one of those students who quietly flies under the radar, but is one that we all want in our classrooms.  Casey is always respectful, kind, and engaged.  He is willing to help others and is a great friend to his peers.  He is simply an amazing kid that deserves to be recognized for his outstanding behavior (no really, he has all O's in his classes and is rocking a 4.57 GPA)!  -- Nominated by Kaitlyn Zak

GUADALUPE LEMUS

Guadalupe is an absolute gem at THS! Her warmth and gratitude are infectious and have made a lasting impression on the staff here. Whenever there's a concern, she approaches it with such humility and respect, and together, we've tackled many challenges head-on. Her courage, kindness, sincerity, and open-mindedness have not only made me a better counselor but have also made our school a better place. She treats everyone with kindness and respect, and her ability to advocate for herself is truly inspiring. I couldn't be prouder of her growth and the positive impact she's had on our school community.-- Nominated by Bre Goetz
