TES Little Green Thumbs Garden
Welcome to Our Garden!
We are so excited to be partnering with One Cool Earth again this year! In addition to the many classroom garden lessons that incorporate grade level science standards, this organization will also be providing opportunities for families to become involved with our campus gardens throughout the year.
Little Green Thumbs Garden is bursting with edible beauty thanks to many donations. Local businesses and community members donate both their time and material to our incredible garden. The garden is located in the courtyard between the C and D wings and at the end of the B wing kindergarten classrooms. Be sure sure to check out the Mandala Mosaic artwork created by previous TES classes on the faces of the concrete planter boxes.
Please contact klorz@templetonusd.org with any information to help this dream fly.
Hello! This is Madeline Schechter, your Garden Educator here at Templeton Elementary. I am so excited to be on campus every Tuesday, using the school gardens as a living laboratory to teach your students nutrition and science through hands-on lessons! This is all made possible by your school's partnership with One Cool Earth. You can find all our curriculum on One Cool Earth's website. Also, keep an eye out for our newsletters in your prinicipal's ParentSquare updates!
Thank you!
