VES Battle of the Books

8:30 am - 1:45 pm

  • 3rd Grade: Students go to the Library at 8:30-9:55am. Then they will go to recess and return to class, then be dismissed from class at 11:00-11:40 for a special lunch. They will return to the MPR after 3rd grade lunch recess (1pm) with their backpacks for team pictures and to attend the final battle. 

  • 4th/5th Grade: Students go to the Library at 10:15am with their backpacks and will remain at the library the rest of the day. 

  • Final Battle Whole School Assembly in the MPR 1:10-1:40pm
