Really Great Reading provides educators of all experience levels with effective resources to ensure every student becomes a joyful and confident reader. Through structured and multisensory instruction, we support students' reading progress and work to close literacy gaps by targeting the diverse needs of all learners. Designed for PK-3 classrooms, our Science of Reading-based solutions provide systematic instruction to ignite students’ orthographic mapping and build strong foundational literacy skills (Really Great Reading, 2025).
Building a Strong Foundation for TK Literacy
Establishes a firm foundation in concepts of print, phonological and phonemic awareness, and letter knowledge, bringing phonics to early childhood education with pre-reading strategies for teachers to use in the classroom. Launchpad engages Pre-Kindergarten aged children with interactive, play-based lessons that develop critical early literacy skills. This research-based program focuses on building letter recognition, phonological awareness, and foundational print concepts to prepare children for kindergarten success (Really Great Reading, 2025).
Countdown to Confident Kindergarten Readers
Focuses heavily on phonological and phonemic awareness early on, building foundational skills with phonics and letter-sound correspondences to confidently decode and encode single-syllable, closed-syllable words and begin to decode and encode simple two-syllable, closed-syllable words. Countdown equips kindergarten students with essential reading skills, focusing on phonemic awareness, phonics, and academic vocabulary, while building letter knowledge, fluency with high-frequency words. With scripted teacher guides, cumulative skill reinforcement, and an interactive online platform, Countdown ensures differentiated instruction for all learners to develop a strong reading foundation (Really Great Reading, 2025).
